 2012 Acura MDX MSRP $35,700-42,000 The 2012 Acura MDX puts the "sport" back in Sport Utility Vehicle. It is as fun to drive, as it is to look at and comes with a multitude of features that make driving exciting again:
The 2012 Acura MDX has a very capable 3.5-Liter VTEC(TM) V6 power plant that is coupled with a smooth 5-Speed Automatic Transmission to flow through traffic or over the hills with ease. This comes as a great bonus for those trips out of town and jaunts into the woods. The hot-selling new 2012 Acura MDX adds more power, an anti-skid feature, and an available rear-view video camera. MDX's second cousin, the Pilot, from Acura's parent company, Honda, is similar in design, with three rows of seats.
MDX gains 20 hp for '03, for a total of 260, and an electronic throttle and a standard antiskid system. Standard are front side airbags, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, rear air conditioning, leather upholstery, and heated front seats. More expensive models have a power passenger seat, in-dash CD changer, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The optional navigation system returns with new voice control and 3D graphics, and its dashboard screen now serves a rearview camera, which shows what's behind when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Finally, MDX offers its first rear-seat DVD entertainment option; it includes headphones and remote control.
