The 2009 Audi TT is at once a sports car and a magic carpet. Nowhere else can you experience such road manners and maneuverability in one place. This vehicle is available this year with its first automatic transmission for 2009, with higher priced models now offer all-wheel drive. The TT comes as a 4-seat hatchback coupe and a 2-seat convertible. Both have a turbocharged 1.8-liter 4-cyl engine. Base TT models have 180 hp and come only with a new 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel buttons for manual shifting; it replaces a 5-speed manual transmission. High performance road TTs have 225 hp and come only with a 6-speed manual and quattro all-wheel drive. All TTs include an antiskid system and front side airbags, and for '03 gain revised grilles and new colors. On base models, 16-inch wheels are standard and 17s optional.
Now you're having fun. A power top is standard on the 225-hp convertible, optional for the lower priced version; both include a heated glass rear window. Blue and green soft tops are newly available with selected paint colors. Nowhere will you experience this much excitement and be enveloped in this much safety.
